This is Jonah Falco of Career Suicide/Fucked Up/Mad Men/Smart Boys fame. These tracks are reminiscent of Wire in their more 'pop' moments and maybe even the Buzzcocks.

7/10 Mike Staff review, 18 June 2014
Here's a 7" by Lonely Wholesome about the deadly sins of 'Vanity' (side A) and 'Lethargy' (side B). Looking at the insert I'm learning that it's the work of a certain J. Falco (better known for his work as one-sixth of a certain F. Up), and these aren't exactly new songs, having been recorded in 2008/2011, so I'm not really sure why they're appearing right now.   Appearing they are, though, on this limited 7" with hand-printed sleeves. 'Vanity' is the more upbeat of the two songs, building into a bright indie-rock swirl of harmonised "ooh-ooh"s and layers of thin-sounding guitar, but they're both very much in a bedroom indiepop vein, with shuffly beats, softly strummed guitars and thoughtful vocals. 'Lethargy' is (unsurprisingly) much more lethargic, a whispery dreampop twinkle that floats meanderingly along like a lilo in a tropical swimming pool. Think Folk Implosion covering Real Estate, those kind of warm slacker vibes. Both songs are okay, but given that it's limited and Fucked Up-related I expect it'd sell even if they weren't.
