Fans of late 60's dark hued pop and the mid 70's folk revival groups will find lots to enjoy on this collection of Sandy Dennys early work with The Strawbs. Opener 'On My Way' has a quite chirpy 60's pop vibe but almost immediatey we are into the smoky autumnal melancholy of Denny's classic 'Who Knows Where the Time Goes'. Denny stands aside for the exquisite 'Always on My Mind', an utterly superb slice of folky 60's pop comparable to Gene Clark's early compositions of Nico's debut. Wonderful!
