Here’s a reissue from way back in 1981. “abrasive post-punk-come-proto-industrial” says the press release. Basically this is kind of new wavey synth punk that’s energetic and quirky and a bit sarcastic, not a million miles from early DEVO. ‘Behind You’ has a high pitched vocal and a low pitched vocal and a simple, repetitive drum machine and synth backing. Rinky-dink early ‘80s roboticisms with a cheeky, lively charm.

On side B is ‘We Are So Glad’ which isn’t quite so upbeat and is a bit like early The Cure but with added robot noises. That’s fine by me, it’s a nice little slice of chill-pop with thudding bass and tinny guitars and monotonously chanted vocals. This is good stuff, properly unique post-punk from, you know, just after punk, which was when all the most authentic post-punk was made if you ask me.
