The limited L.I.E.S. black label 12”s seem to arrive unannounced and then vanish in the blink of an eye.
The story goes that German factory workers Sandro Stebnitz, Manito Rotschild, and Dieter Flegel aspired to make electronic music like Gary Numan. This is pretty far removed from that fantasy and much more like an extended Hieroglyphic Being style acid jam. It flows freely with a cool raw and live box jam vibe, so it evolves naturally rather than being an over sequenced computer effort. So fifteen minutes of raw lo-fi German but Chicago leaning acid house, simple but effective and all decent fun with funky drums and an overall primitive and naive charm. Sounds like it was tailor made for L.I.E.S.
Limited to an undisclosed number of copies with an etching on the non audio side. Don’t kip as they say.
