Ty returns with a new 7” on Drag City and it’s not an easy one to describe sitting somewhere between Syd Barrett era psych-pop and more classic forms of rock performed quietly on a mix of acoustic and electric instruments with a recording that sounds basement like in it’s lo-fidelity. There’s wailing solos and mad falsettos but the recording doesn’t pack the punch required for ‘Feel’ to have any impact.
