Ok this one shoulda had the Li’l Biz name on it but the Li’l Biz pile is ever growing and I think I’ll get a swipe if I add to it.

After a series of very difficult music this is sounding so pleasing to the ears. Optimo’s first ever disco plate is a wonderfully lush slab of modern discotheque. As sleek as the hood on your old Capri as gleaming as its chrome, ‘The First Night’ glides along effortlessly under the glitter ball. The kind of disco Daft Punk think they’re making, vocals kept to a minimum, so slavering guest stars just pure dancefloor magic. Flip it over and ‘No More’ dares to add the cheese with some synth strings and a waling vocals before it redeems itself with a lovely trancey synth line and some haunting Chic-strings and a pumping bass.

Its euphoric but they should have left the vox and cheese strings off and it would a been as slick as the A.
