Minimal dirty two piece punk racket which on opener ‘Pantomime Jack’ lurches into a screaming raucous chorus. So far, so Cramps but ‘Pink Moons’ lurches into a lo-fi minimal dub direction think Dub Narcotic Soundsystem. The album seems to continue in this quiet/loud vein, a scuzzy dirty punk blast is followed by this kind of wierd spindly bass and drum music. Although you could compare it snivvelling disregard for melody and chuck it in with Chain and the Gang and their bratty brethren there’s elements of the more downtempo tracks that have something of the skeletal end of The Clash about them, the vocals are particularly Strummer-esque, kinda like him collaborating with The Slits perhaps.
