More fairly imprenetable stuff but this time the bleeps and bloops start to forge a cohesive pattern and half way through ‘Girl U So Strong’ starts to make a kind of wayward sense. Its post dubstep, cut and spliced with some huge bassy tones jutting like shards out the mix. Flip it and there’s a speedy piece of four to the floor dubstep with a vocal slither emerging from the mix. Again Kyle Hall takes his time before bringing the elements in so you got to have patience but once it comes together its a lively and dynamic dancefloor friendly take on the genre.

7/10 Andrew Customer review, 6th September 2014

Apparently this had been kicking about in Mr Hall's files for a couple of years or more, only to be released now, some time after his last 12 on Hyperdub. Sure he has been putting out other stuff, but you wonder why this was sat on so long. I mean there are a couple of good tracks here, they sit alongside the deep house, slightly wonky techy type stuff that has been emerging for the last couple of years so it could have been put out when it was made, or I suppose next year. Its good, I like this record, gosh darn, I bought it. But it won't change your life, its one of those releases that quality labels put out, it won't hurt their legacy, it won't enhance there legacy...it's good, but when you think of some of the mode defining releases on their discography it just feels a bit ho hum. I guess the cash flow needs to be maintained and you can't wait for the new Burial or DJ Rashaad to create a new sound each time before you put a record out. Kyle Hall and this record probably don't deserve this, there are easier targets and far more deserving, but for some reason I just came to mull on this whilst listening. Sorry Kyle, I do really likd your stuff.
