"Kraut-post-punk-inspired party band" Cruising have a two-song tape out this week with a couple of noisy lo-fi post punk jamz for your ears to comprehend. They've got members of September Girls, Girls Names and others so this lot know what they're doing. 'You Made Me Do That' is a gnarly three-chord mess with a crunchy distorted repeato riff, noisily pounding drums and emphatically chanted monotone vocals - super lo-fi rehearsal tape type recording but pretty energetic, I can see myself having a boogie to this at some mucky basement gig.

On the other side 'Raspberry Man' follows a similar formula but the recording is even muddier and this time there are only two chords and the shouty bits sound like a guy rather than a girl. The basic elements of repetition, distortion and grimy lo-fi production values remain firmly in place though.

Noisy repetitive kraut punk delivered in the lowest fi possible.
