Well this has been flying off our shelves....and so it should as its jam packed with all your and my favourites. I've been listening to it whilst nursing a fig roll and now feel qualified to tell you what happens.

The See See open up with 'The Clutch of Dawn' (which brings to mind the 'every bloke in the office....' gag which I won't repeat here). Anyway its a sun-drenched blast of 60's pop which brings to mind BOTH The Sea Urchins AND The Byrds. Whatever next? Well its The Young Sinclairs who do a very shuffly late '80's style of baggy. They have a SITAR and sound like The Field Mice circa 'For Keeps' or The Stone Roses. Your choice.

Overleaf the wonderful Triptydes win the race with a gorgeous shimmering piece of 70's magic. They play their 12 Strings like Roger McGuinn and would make a wonderful accompaniment to Temples. Finally Frankie and The Witch Figures do a more garagey Seeds like gear.

Everything on here jangles, sounds like its emerged from 1967 and its all dangerous! On red wax.
