Can't quite get my hear round this on quick first listen. Its a re-issue of some seriously smooth 70's yacht rock that has nods to The Eagles and Jackson Browne. Its has that kinda soulful acoustic soul sound that you can imagine being played on Radio 2 on a sunday morning. All relaxed grooves and snorting cocaine off a mixing desk in Laurel Canyon type vibe. Hints of early Hall and Oates but I'm missing the oddball quirk bands like that terrible twosome and the impeachable Steely Dan bring to this kinda ocean strum.
