Food is the 6th album by Harlem born songstress Kelis. It has been described as being her most lyrically honest album to date. As well as being a singer, Kelis is a qualified Le Cordon Bleu sauce chef, so unsurprisingly her love of food influenced the album. Food was produced by TV On The Radio guitarist Dave Sitek.

7/10 Jack Customer review, 20th September 2015
On her sixth album, Kelis pleases our music-buds with some tasty tunes served on a R&B platter. Criminally underrated, Food harks back to 1970's funk and soul at a time when the charts were obsessed with hip-hop and bubblegum pop from teenage artists. I listened through this album a few times, trying to come up with adequate descriptions. Food has a great sound to it, and Kelis' voice is powerful. Every track is original. Like a recipe, I would think about the construction. This is a mature sound that is a long way from the novelty of her "Milkshake" debut.
