Electronic minuteman Tod Dockstader was producing music in the 50s and 60s, in the days before synthesizers made that whole whole game more accessible. Remarkable to think, that. He worked as a sound engineer in films and for studios, so presumably got his mitts on all that formative gear for these late night experiments. Tracks here include those simply titled "Water Music" and "Drone", and this is truly pioneering stuff along those lines. Limited reissue on DOZ.
