Here's a little one-sided taster for an upcoming Ike Yard remixes album, and it's got Regis reworking 'Loss'. It starts out as a stuttering little techno beat and cut-up vocal sample, but that eventually develops into a pulsating wall of synth bloops anchored by a steady bass drum and snare, a pulsating shivering emptiness fed by disjointed mutterings, finally bursting into life at the end with some hammering snare rolls before echoing awkwardly away.

It's a queasy churn of man vs machine coldness with a really explorative early '80s freewheeling curiosity to it. Cryptic but enveloping.
