Here’s a single of dirty hairy man rock from Ragged Barracudas. On side A is ‘Living the Dream’ which is a lo-fi ‘70s bulldozer riff with a bit of a cocky glam swagger to it. Everything is all muddy and distorted and there’s some sloppy squealing guitar solo bits. Enjoyable.

Two songs on side B. First up is ‘Cheap Allure’ which is a slow groover with a weird woozy guitar line and moaning vocals. The rest of the band speed up but the singer stays kinda slow, sloppy garage riffs is the game they’re playing. Then there’s a big galloping instrumental jam which seems to distinctly end and then another jam starts that’s much chunkier and less sloppy than the first one. I think both these jams must comprise ‘Motor Jam’ because that’s the only track left, unless the first one is actually the concluding half of ‘Cheap Allure’. Anyway, this is sweaty lo-fi testosterock and it’s pretty fun.
