If you’re a fan of Krautrock you no doubt can wax lyrical about its heavy germanic electronic brilliance. Amon Düül II were at the forefront of the movement, and this book from Tobias Peterson contains everything you need to know about the band and the sound that could only have been birthed in a German still divided by Cold War tension and misery. Hardcover book, 160 pages.

This is a great book really showing how incredible Amon Duul really were. It explains how they started and also shows the state of Germany at the time they formed the band. It also shows insights into a band that is quite unknown with not much information about them out there. The book also shows how they went on to influence other Krautrock band and also many modern bands that are around now. Overall an incredible book which explains the genius behind Amon Duul. A definite read for anyone who is into Krautrock or into Amon Duul
