Its not just some guys jamming. Its Pete Nolan from Magik Markers, Steve Shelley from the Sonic Youth, Aaron Mullan from Tall Firs and Mark Ibold from Pavement.

They do an ancient sounding folky exploration type thing. When they attempt a chord change you can literally hear their creaking bones. Its all psychedelic country blues with a nod towards Crazy Horse and another in the direction of Wooden Shjps. The vocals are low and gravelly and the whole thing veers on the verge of falling apart,  still I’d quite like to drink a pint of beer to this.

On the flip the old lads turn the knob up to 11 and deliver a lengthy feedback drenched psychedelic workout. Must have been fun for them.
