9/10 DaveyDoodlebug Customer review, 3rd March 2014

You either love 'em or totally despise 'em, but you gotta admit the music stratosphere has been a pretty grim place since those crazy Scousers from Space vanished about a decade ago. As a life-long Spacecadet, this reviewer is pleased to report that they're BACK-BACK-BACK with a delicious new record entitled... wait for it... 'Attack of the Mutant 50ft Kebab'. Leading the comeback trail is this stonker of a tune that couples a bouncy 2-tone-o-billy riff with the eerie, science-fiction keyboards they've long made their signature. Twisted, spooky, yet catchy and fun-loving at the same time... seriously, what's not to love about a song that manages to squeeze a Doctor Who reference into a gritty tale of unwanted pregnancy? Side B 'The Perfect Sin' is not quite as dark but is equally infectious. Give it a spin, you cannot help grinning.
