9/10 Jacob Customer review, 7th January 2015
Bombay Bicycle Club's (BBC) debut LP 'I Had The Blue But I Shook Them Loose' was quite frankly one of the best CD's I was ever told to check out, the two follow ups LP's; 'Flaws' and 'A Different Kind Of Fix' were in no way let down's, yet they never reached the brilliance, in my opinion, of 'I Had The Blue But I Shook Them Loose'. The development of style BBC has shown in 'So Long, See You Tomorrow.' may not have bettered their debut, yet it stands just as comfortable next to it's side as an equal, filled with great additional vocal from Lucy Rose and new girl Rae Morris.
'Luna' and 'Home by now' are brilliant examples of how the boys have changed; a change I find suiting, different enough, yet still the good old' BBC I love.
If you can afford it go for the Deluxe box set, it's a beautiful collection with a 7" of b-sides that, all though short, stand as proud as any track on the album.
