- Rap Pon Rydim by Tiger (dancehall artist)

This has just reminded me of Daddy Freddy doing the worlds fastest rapping one time on Record Breakers with Roy Walker and Sheryl Baker grinning away. You just can’t imagine a moment like that ever happening again on television. So anyway it's great to see Dug Out are still on a mission. They'd gone quiet there for a bit but are back with this 45 from the one and only Tiger riding a minimal but frantic 909 riddim with aggressive vocal attack sounding like a man possessed. Proper hardcore ragga gear. I’ve no idea when it was recorded but I used to love this guy, his first album ‘Me Name Tiger’ is a dancehall classic and soundtracked many a session. If you’re not into the vocals you can always flip over to the Version on the B-side where the bass really comes through with the vocals absent from the dry, raw and primitive/ energetic and driving 909 beats. The vocal version is proper insane though and I can’t help but chuckle to myself as the fellow rants away, sounding like one ferocious Tiger.
