Chicago's  The Luck of Eden Hall have been producing shards of hooky psychedelic music for some time now and this further refined their Beatles-influenced sound.  There's no getting away from the influence of the psychedelic era of the fab four on this record with its immaculate production, descending chords and air of a granny-glassed tea party in 1967. You could also throw in comparisons such as XTC's Dukes of Stratospheare project, piling on the psychedelic affects and winsome vocals with aplomb.  Its a dense swirling concoction that references all the best bits of the acid-fried 1960's psych travellers. Comes in what the label describe as a "majestic gatefold sleeve with stunning artwork and lyric sheet".
