I have to confess to not really being all that taken with the first tune ‘Unanswered’ which is pretty much just a dry drum track. Things pick up though with ‘Led Up Garden Paths’ with booming kicks and pretty good vibes it’s arguably his most immediately dancefloor friendly production to date.

The standout cut on the EP for me is undoubtedly ‘This Whole Affair Is So Fucking Unfair’ which is bleeding with distortion and rough as a badgers arse; sounding all rubbery but also sizzles and fizzes away with simple shuffling percussion adding some momentum and some heady synth work giving additional depth. ‘Odd Dog End’ is all clicky and heavier kicks overlaid with gently simmering bubbling and some melancholy synth sounds in there too. It kinda makes with think of really raw gnarly dubby house.
