For a moment there I thought that Dizzee Rascal had turned his back on the pop game and returned to his edgy grimey roots. However, this is a re-work of a track Wen produced back in the day re-worked and re-issued with Dizzy’s blessing. Its great and a timely reminder how distinctive Rascal’s early work was before the lure of the mainstream came a calling.

Over staccato string samples and a blooping bassline the vocal delivery is a scattershot, chewy stop start stream of consciousness flitting in and out of the mix perfectly accompanying the twisting samples. The lyrical dexterity of the A side is notable when compared to the flip which is a fun if generic dancefloor grime banger with some cut up disembodied voices and thumping beatery.
