What a package this is! There's a 20-page 7"x7" book of screenprints in lovely thick ink, and mounted in the middle are a 7" and a CD containing a set from Vibracathedralites Flower and Campbell in one of my favourite places, Leeds autonomous social space Wharf Chambers. I'm assuming the 7" just has fragments from the three lengthy pieces on the CD but it's a little unclear...the tracks on the CD are 'Wharf Cat #1-3' and on the 7" they're labelled 'Wharf' and 'Cat'.   It's a pretty far-out ride. Those of you who are familiar with Neil Campbell's Astral Social Club will know all about the dense clouds of deeply psychedelic electronics he's capable of conjuring up, euphoric looped synth melodies coated in pocket fluff and rainbow dust, while Flower's in free-flowing mode, carving out bright chugging grooves, meandering high-pitched melodies that spring from his fingertips like shafts of light and wah heroics buried under flickering distortion.   It's a wild and hypnotic masterclass in free-expressive synth and guitar psychedelia that swarms along in a shuddering flood of noise that's both warped and optimistic. It's a really good recording, and stunningly presented. Buy this.
