Rather crucial reissue of a very crucial album. It is hard to conceive of music today without The Velvet Underground’s White Light / White Heat in the mix. This is available in double CD format, double LP format, and a big fat triple CD box, crammed to the gills with rare tracks, alternate mixes and live stuff.

10/10 Jack Customer review, 10th August 2015

Searingly loud, messily exuberant, this album is the type that leaves its listener forever changed. Lou Reed and co. deliver a thing that will mess you up. It'll slam you, stroke you, break you, make love to you, take you down and save your worthless soul. The Velvets have shaped so much of my musical appreciation, have challenged me, but more than anything else, have richly rewarded me. While I stand by their first album as my favourite, WLWH is within a millimetre of that barometer. It is crazy, manic, and you must, must own it.

The most important rock and roll record. Loved it since I first heard it in 1982. This edition doesn't add much to the original but a nice christmas present to myself!
