Second EP from these guys. The first one sold out in minutes or something. I forget. I know very little about them aside from the fact that they have the drummer from Mazes playing with ‘em. So, four tracks of good, old-fashioned, fuzzy indie rock. It’s energetic, lively and catchy though it’s slightly let down by the production as it sounds a bit small. It might be the mastering I don’t know, but I’ve just turned the volume knob right up and it’s better now. It’s late ‘80s, early ‘90s indie style frenetic rock with the vocals low down in the mix (there’s both female/ male vocals here) and big discordant indie riffs. Biennial Drool is my favourite, mainly because of the discordant guitars which I always am a sucker for.

So if you’re into the new wave of old wave of indie bands coming through (Sauna Youth, Mazes, Cold Pumas etc) but more earnest then check ‘em out!
