The lengthy search to find out who this was by at least gave me a few minutes to listen to the first track which is a kind of sprawling duet between organ and the traditional Greek instrument the oud. This is the basis for the album, the two instruments combining to engineer a kind of slightly scary gothic horror soundtrack.

The next track ‘Bobbing For Razor Blades’ is terrifying circus music. ‘Roller Skating Under Water’ is a nicer affair with skating rink style organ and some complimentary string plucking., ‘Happy Go Slappy’ again is the sound of a macabre circus with a drunken organ playing all kinds of discordant notes. i’m going to have to turn it off now but this crazed spectacle is sure to appeal to someone, somewhere.
