Yeezus by Kanye West

Seen as perhaps his most abrasive and experimental work (just look at that cover art for starters), Yeezus was Kanye West's 2013 album that saw him collaborate with artists as diverse as Daft Punk, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), Rick Rubin and Frank Ocean. It sees the rapper embrace electro punk, industrial, punk and drill music.

I am giving a great review for this album; Kanye has helped pull experimental hip-hop into the mainstream with 'Yeezus'. Daft Punk are on production and you can tell with the pounding bass on tracks such as 'I Am A God', 'New Slaves' and 'On Sight'. There is a heavy Death Grips influence as already mentioned with the crunching bass that you will hear throughout the album. Even greater is the TNGHT sample on 'Blood On The Leaves' that helps Kanye West delve in to the world of trap.
