Oh lordy I thought it said ‘Keith Trax’. It’s not it’s ‘Reith’ after the farm in Austria from whence it emerged. In the next room they are playing Slayer. I’m happy with with my DMX Krew especially when the first track is as lovely as ‘Hammock Yard’ - it really is a truly sublime piece of electronic music. It has a delightful intertwining synth melody which is at once retro and futuristic, harking back to the great early days of recorded synth - a slow-moving joy of a piece, wibbly yet warm.

‘Trees Are Dancing‘ ups the energy levels somewhat, featuring a thumping kick drum from which emerge squeaks of synth and distorted handclap, ‘Trees are Dancing 2‘ dislocated and isolated, a future plod of churning drums and eerie synth work. I could go on, this is just DMX Krew doing what he does best, a little more restrained perhaps at times but that ‘Hammock Yard’ really is a showstopper, the remainder being impressively rhythmic but not living up to its melodic heights.
