I have never, ever in my entire life woken up awesome. Instead I usually wake up grim, hollering at the alarm clock for having the bare faced cheek to wake me up. The only positive being that I’ve survived another night, something I rarely think possible when attempting to actually get to sleep. If my alarm clock woke me to this cacophony then I’d probably hurl it out the nearest window.

Its part of a venture that invites artists in the field of electronic music to create collaborative works.  Its a complex tangle of noise, edits, samples that fizzes along like a rat under the floorboards, getting meshed up in a tangle of wires, each which leads to a different hammer which in turn hits random objects. It sounds intentional but I’m not sure that they are not just piddling about.

A cello is involved but not in the conventional Jacqueline Du Pre sense. Its used to squeak, screech, strangle, squark, and occasionally pick out a distracted melody which surprisingly leads to a quite pleasant passage of music which involves some quite sweet electronics burbling away. Although I don’t hear a single, its not as difficult as I was expecting, the album is bouncing around the office quite pleasantly, I’m not bothering it, its not bothering me.
