For those who are fans who have missed new music by The Headcoatees, Delmonas or even Dutronc (the more obscure, short-lived Jacques Dutronc covers band featuring former Headcoat, Bruce Brand on guitar), the new 6 track EP by THE SHALL I SAY QUOIS is a must have. Featuring EX-Headcoatees, Kyra Rubella, Ludella Black & The Buff Medways / MBE’S, Nurse Julie, the trio — not unlike other Childish/Medway sound-related projects — show the affectionate influence of '60s French rocker, Jacques Dutronc — evident by the groups name, and at cover of his hit, " Et moi, et moi, et."
While the overall sound of the combo is familiar, with some songs a bit derivative, what takes this collection to another level beyond some of the previous bands the members come from is a greater variety of material, showcasing these gals individual talents, quite effectively.
But, as any fan of its previous bands would attest, this fool-proof, sure-fire formula for musical satiation is one that you don't want to mess with, beyond reason.

And if that wasn't enough, garage visionary Billy Childish's piercing guitar work and Wolf Howard's firecracker drumming — both, now of CTMF notability and fame — provide the gritty, formidable backing that knock these songs out of the park.
And, if you act fast, you can get this sonic delight on 3 colors of vinyl.

So, it short, to address, The Shall I Say Quoi’s? If you love catchy, raw, garage-pop, The answer is an emphatic yes!
