8/10 Matt Customer review, 19th November 2013
The mlp is just a sneak preview of the next album " The curse and the chapter". The age of nefarious sounds promising. Insane vocals, cool intro though quite short for Hell's standard. The flip side contains 3 live tracks from Bloodstock. The sound is quite good and capture the intensity of live music.

After the success of Human Remains, Hell return with a new EP as a taster for the next full release Curse and Chapter. Hell are a band that is difficult to pigeonhole as their are elements of trad, black and thrash to what they do. The one consistent factor is that whatever they do is always of the highest quality.
The Age of Nefarious kicks things off as the sole new song here. It is a natural evolution of what the band were doing on Human Remains and sets the expectation that Curse and Chapter will have been well worth waiting for as Hell continue to show why they are at the very pinnacle of Britain's metal elite.
We then have 3 live tracks from one of the most memorable ever performances at Bloodstock Open Air; anyone who was there will always remember how good the band were on that day with a completely OTT stage show. The songs (on Earth as it is in Hell, Blasphemy and the Master and The Oppressors) are all from Human Remains and take a new leash of life in the live environment. This band simply excel live and you can experience that on this release. Can't wait for Curse and Chapter.
9/10 Nige Taylor Customer review, 4th November 2013
As a teaser for their forthcoming Curse and Chapter album Hell have released this little treat. One new track and three live ones from one of their two now legendary Bloodstock Open Air performances, on glorious brown 10" vinyl.
The new track The Age of Nefarious is another belter with the fine vocals of David Bower shining through some real heavy metal riffing by Mister Sneap and Bower while the live tracks are just great again, showing that this band are every bit as good on stage as off it, and that is without seeing the amazing show.
If you love real heavy metal done with passion and flare this is a must!
