From the title and the snow on the cover I was about to deduce it was the start of this years christmas-themed records. Luckily I was wrong. This is a charming album of home recorded lush acoustic pop from Matt Randall (Beatglider) and the alarmingly similarly named Adam Radmall.

Remember that solo Ben Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie) album? Remember how average it was? Well now think of Ben as a younger man before all of that Zooey Deschanel shit,  probably around the time of ‘Something about Airplanes’ coming back off tour, settling into a wonderfully warm American bungalow and writing strummy melancholic songs into a 4 track as the snow falls slowly outside.  This is exactly what this record sounds like. Its beautifully produced, lo-fi but so full sounding, the guitars strum right into your ears. I’m INSANELY jealous. As will FM Cornog of East River Pipe another romantic they closely resemble.

The vocals....well they sound like Ben Gibbard. Despite being made by English fellers it has a kind of warm American christmassy twinkle,  the smell of cinnamon, snow in the pine trees, over-elaborate christmas decorations.  A lovely record and there’s tonnes of songs, 17 in fact, all to date have been glowingly lovely.
