Pearl Jam’s album Lightning Bolt, unfortunately not named for the avant-metal band, is a comfortable listen for fans of the old rock 'n' roll sound of the band, without being too precious or uptight about it. Recommended for anyone who is a big fan of Vedder’s talent of singing through the nostrils. On limited vinyl LP.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 2nd February 2015

Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard, Jeff Ament, and Matt Cameron are still really great musicians willing to expand their music pallets. If this album wasn't a Pearl Jam record it would probably receive a much better grade from media at-large, if of course, it was given the time of day (it's damn hard to get an album heard by mainstream media that isn't pushed by a label). But Pearl Jam doesn't exist to appease the mainstream media and that's a joy that a lot of us fans take solace in. The album is worth listening to and owning and I look forward to seeing them play these songs live for years to come.
