They’re good at it, though, with a kind of Swans-meets-Teenage Panzerkorps-meets-Dystopia intensity at their best moments, and I do like the staggering, smack-addled violence of their grooves ‘cause it reminds me of a more lo-fi Unsane or more recently Drunk In Hell. I’ve always been a bit weak-stomached for some of their nastier imagery but conceptually it works with their sneeringly antisocial aesthetic and the muddy lo-fi rumble they conjure up can be very powerful. If you like your music to be all dirty and violent then you probably already love these guys but if you’ve not yet investigated them then get involved. It’ll make you feel greasy.
