7/10 Clinton Staff review, 13 September 2013
This is a lot out of San Francisco who, without reading any kind of sleeve notes/press release, you may think were from the tail end of punk. They have the buzzsaw guitars, slightly dishevelled arrangements and raw aggression of the likes of Buzzcocks, Ramones and The Descendents but the vocals recall a only marginally cheerier Ian Curtis.
A good period piece certainly, or/and attempt to re-create the best of a certain era without really offering anything that could be taken from the last 30 years of music making.
