Here Italian producer Donato Dozzy reworks material from Bee Mask's 'Vaporware' release for Room 40. Apparently the two met a Labyrinth which is a Japanese techno/ electronic music festival I would sell my children to attend. Mike Parker cranking out his awesome techno across a beautiful Japanese landscape anyone?? It's the stuff my dreams are made of. Anyway this was initially supposed to be a remix but Dozzy got somewhat carried away with the Source material and thankfully Spectrum Spools obliged with a full album release.

Simply imagine Bee Mask's gorgeous synth worlds re-imagined with some Voices Of The Lake magic and the ambient techno vibes of Dozzy's 'K' album which urgently needs to be repressed NOW. Like much of Dozzy's non-dancefloor work I find candlelight and a comfy chair are all you need to be transported into his vivid and often psychedelic sound world. It's possible to recognise elements of the original sounds so if you're familiar with them hearing how they have been reworked into these new tracks is most rewarding. If not then regardless this is great stuff, but then I'm yet to hear a duffer from Donato Dozzy.
