Uh-oh, things are about to get a bit cosmic up in here! Yup, Petar Dundov is back with a new collection of dreamily motorik modern electronica with hypnotic, detailed beats and lots of crispy synthplay that’ll make you go all moist round the lips. It’s a silky journey which skirts carefully around the idea of euphoric trance without ever throwing itself too far in to beat a hasty retreat when needs be, playing around in a soundtracky angle on bvdubish ambient techno territory and a kind of Warm Digits-meets-Jonas Munk lighthearted modern take on krautrock’s hypnotically repetitive styles. It gets a bit ‘Wish You Were Here’ in places but never annoyingly so, mostly it’s beaty melodic ambience with smooth and inviting layers of synthetic melody. It’s like Eat Lights Become Lights’ updated krautrock restlessness but if they ate so many space cakes they thought they were stuck to the walls. I like it.
