Taking the quality of the Astral Social Club catalogue into account, to say that this is probably my favourite record by Neil Campbell's alter ego is a bold statement. The man's hit the jackpot with this one, arguably his most focused and refined statement to date. I continuously add new titles to our website and reading the sales notes is sometimes baffling. So many bands recently claim to be psychedelic, jumping on the bandwagon. That shit is so fake. If this music was to make such a claim it would receive the gold seal of approval from the Universal Psychedelia Police. Opener 'Snow Clouds' has fuzzy axe squealing ripping holes through the sky while rhythmic mantras hypnotise before becoming destroyed by bolts of pure electricity.

By the way, the techno/ noise collision didn't start with Pete Swanson folks, 'Glitterstompf' being an in your face reminder of Neil's taste for techno and his vision of the genre as he smears it into his mastery of conjuring alternate zones, honed playing in Vibracathedral Orchestra. 'Twenty-four Times Yes' is a hypnotic techno banger with disorientating mind-warp synth that really ought to be re-wiring brains on dance floors of clubs like Berghain. I'd pay to see those posers on Bolier Room have their heads exploded by closer 'Boiling Up The Bones' which is a like a big carnival celebration on the red planet. An absolute cracker - Ltd copies with download.
