There are six tracks of sloppy neanderthal lo-fi punk on this 7”, that’s three songs per side, or nearly one song per inch! The music contained in those songs is clattery, blown out and repetitive, but with a snotty slacker edge which really works when they slow the pace a little like on ‘Alien Eyes’ so they sound like Flipper covering Danzig or something. It’s an aesthetic which really seems to grab onto the minimal, falling-apart aspects of punk rock and take them to new, even more broken places but with a singularity of purpose which keeps everything from just disintegrating into a shambles.

It’s nasty, it’s snotty, it’s got three chords and it makes you dance, what more do you want from a punk rock record? If you like Flipper and early Black Flag and Big Boys and Crass and Tropical Trash and that sort of thing, I expect you’ll like this too.
