Emile Facey used to be a regular on the AI label and here has a debut for the central Processing label.

This is pure electro that recalls SCSI, Silicon Scally, Satamile etc. The cold robotic grooves of the title track are given plenty of warmth with rich melodies and space age / sci-fi synth action. ‘Cold Operator’ recalls some Heinrich Mueller productions, with loops gently building towards a climax that never emerges. ‘Tellarium Snow’ again has some of that Dopplereffekt flavour, with crisp beats and sinister bassline complete with soulful machine song. ‘Cogs Are Turning’ continues with a similar palette and slightly increased tempo with 808 cowbell, 4/4 beat and heady melodies.

All good quality, well-executed electro with a dose of funk. Edition of 250 copies.
