It's 'Dr No', one of those spy films where James Bond is very charming, orders drinks at bars, raises his eyebrows and kills other, less nice spies. The soundtrack gets a reissue here on vinyl, showing off the original score and of course giving us that pretty famous James Bond theme tune, which is performed by the John Barry Orchestra.

8/10 Jack Customer review, 12th February 2015
The DR. NO soundtrack brings you back to the days when albums were made to be listened to as lounge music, for lack of a better term, and the like. When the filmmakers decided on a musical score for DR. NO they had to decide on the direction the music would take. Would they go for an action, detective yarn, science fiction, mystery or suspense score? Would they focus on the plot elements, the characters or locale for inspiration? There had been spy films before, but not like this one. They must have turned to the Ian Fleming novels for their initial inspiration.
