Housed in very nice thick card. Very good girth. Last night we had a storm of epic proportions, the rain pounded down. I walked to the open bedroom window and said to my accomplice that “it hadn’t been this hard in years”. Well I’ve not seen anything this thick in years. What’s going on with the music though?

A tiny little Japanese sounding voice is trilling away, the music is a kind of a toy box, child-like clatter. A lot of it sounds a bit like the breakdown section in ‘Stonehenge’. On the B side, a man takes the vocal reins and this reminds me of 10CC, Field Music, Deerhoof and Henry Cow all rolled into one. The music can’t stay still for a second, in a kind of Cardiacs-like manner, jittering around all over the place, stopping for a madcap falling down the stairs bit every so often.  Eccentric, wandering art pop that you don’t see much of these days. Loved the B side, less sure of the A side. Anyway as Meatloaf almost said, one out of two ain’t bad. Pretty good going these days.
