There’s a touch of Ty Segall-ish ‘60s influence here too, and another of their contemporaries they’re bound to be compared to are LA pop-punk scamps Fidlar, but more than these it’s triggering memories of the ‘90s sounds of bands from my adolescence like Urusei Yatsura, Teenage Fanclub and Symposium...the sound of my awkward youth. But don’t let that put you off - what they lack in subtlety and originality they make up for in sheer determined enthusiasm. I expect they’re loads of fun live.
