Debut from Alexander Lewis on the Blackest Ever Black imprint, for fans of dark industrial synth noise this is the stuff of dreams! There are just six tracks on this EP but what it lacks in quantity it certainly delivers in quality. Blade Runner-esque visions of a wasted future, crackled synth drones all phased and warped with sounds of the only TV broadcast left on the planet flickering away on an abandoned wasteland.

Recorded in one take with little or no post-production this is major stuff, Alexander Lewis is clearly influenced by classic industrialists like Head Of David and Scorn but is still a power unto himself. ‘Figure Moving’ has a rhythmic sound like the chase scene in a sci-fi movie and ‘Winter Flower’ is full of distortion like the whirring of an angle grinder! Pretty good for a debut I would say!
