Here’s the preposterously-monikered Wampire with some bright’n’bouncy synthpop. The singer’s voice, a strained croon which reminds me of Julian Casablancas, is instantly grating on me but I shall persevere. There’s some super-wibbly synth that sounds kind of wrong and some hyperactive bass playing which I like but the composition is an extreme-pop sugar rush that smacks of a less subtle Wolf Parade or mid-era Of Montreal.

Flip it and there’s a completely unnecessary cover of Kraftwerk’s ‘Das Modell’. “Yeah, just fucking cover that, you twats,” says Li’l Biz. I wish I hadn’t persevered. Edition of 500 copies on thick purple vinyl with download.
