In an attempt to confuse us all, German psych rockers Vibravoid have given this, their seventh album, an Italian title, and opened it with a Serge Gainsbourg cover in French. In fact this six song LP is split 50/50 between covers and original material, with Aphrodite’s Child and Tyrnaround also penning a track apiece.

In terms of the music itself, this LP is a bold and colourful mix of saturated fuzz guitar, bright Hammond organ and a bouncy rhythm section along with some well-balanced vocals whose delivery keeps reminding me of arch-druid Julian Cope, a man who I’m almost certain would enjoy this record. Basically this sounds like vintage ‘70s psychedelia dragged into the 21st century like the bastard child of Spacemen 3 and The See See. It sticks to the formula quite rigidly but it’s still pretty groovy if a little Austin Powers in places.
