Here’s a superb little slice of ‘70s Thai exotica from the tongue-tangling Nung Lamyong Kularbseemuang and Chanpen Dennapa I think, it's all a bit cryptic...either way which comes in a lovely stitched and screenprinted sleeve. On the A side there’s a simple, offbeat number with a hypnotic three-note organ melody and hi-hat accompaniment with some evocative warbling from Lamyong.

Over on the other side there’s a more lively track with some sort of string instrument (I think it’s a phin) taking the lead melody before a woman comes in with a sing-song vocal. Both these tracks are great, and I won’t expose my ignorance about Thai music any further by saying any more on the matter.
