Here’s a 7” of unabashed sweaty riff rock fun from London newcomers Limb, with big pendulous riffs and Kyuss-esque hollerin’ aplenty in a whirlwind of thick distorted guitar and dirty cheeseball hooks. It’s dumb, it’s loud, it’s nothing new and it doesn’t give a shit. Recorded by Ross Halden at Ghost Town Studios and it’s got that massive late ‘90s stoner metal vibe down perfectly but I’m still left feeling like this lot are yet to find their own sound.

There’s a slight sludge feel edging it into Noothgrush/Bumsnogger sort of territory during closer ‘Dead Voice’, but that’s alternated with The Plight/Bronx style testosterone chugging which I’m not finding as exciting. That said, fans of that brand of stoner metal or Annihilation Time-style bro-noise will no doubt still find this suitably chunky and violent.
