The now sadly departed Danielle Baquet-Long, one half of Celer, here receives a posthumous release for her album Seasick, which is full of graceful, blurry, rumbling drones in a quiet, measured piece of delicate ambience with boomy earth’s-core rumbles, field recordings and glassy drones.

As you would expect it’s in no hurry to go anywhere, but go places it does, gently and often almost imperceptibly, swelling to trickling, droning, crackling peaks and then receding. It’s patient, calming, tranquil late night “alone time” listening made by one of the most distinctive sound artists of recent years, and testament to a real lost talent.
